À propos du poste

Voxbridge opens in M'Sila this year, and English is the language most of our students walk through the door for. Some need an IELTS band to study in the UK or Canada. Others simply want to stop freezing the moment a conversation switches to English. You would teach both, and the gap between those two students is most of the job.

You'll run small classes — we cap them on purpose — covering general English from A1 to C1 alongside dedicated IELTS preparation. Expect a mix of lycée students, university students and working adults, concentrated in late afternoon and evening slots, with intensive groups on Saturdays.

Because this is our founding intake, you won't be inheriting someone else's syllabus. You'll help build the one we use: choosing coursebooks, writing the placement test, and deciding what a Voxbridge B2 actually means in practice. If you have opinions about how English gets taught in Algeria, this is the moment they can still change something.

We intend to support the teaching properly. Planning time is paid, materials are provided, and nobody here is expected to be printing their own worksheets at midnight.

Ce que nous recherchons

— A degree in English language, literature, translation or a related field — At least two years teaching English, or one year plus a recognised qualification (CELTA, TEFL, TESOL) — C1 English or above, and genuinely comfortable running an upper-level class entirely in English — Working Arabic or French, for the beginner groups where translation actually helps — Solid familiarity with the IELTS format, both Academic and General Training

Nice to have: — A track record getting candidates to band 6.5 and above — Experience with adult learners, not only school-age students — Willingness to take a Saturday intensive group
